We have been in the dairy cattle farming business for the past 9 years and have faced and defeated many obstacles throughout this journey of ours. We are proud to say today that we are one of the leading dairy cattle farmers in the southern region.

Looking back at those days when we were paid ‘LITTLE’ for our effort and this situation was made worse by the constant increase in feed and operating cost. We then decided to process our daily produce into yogurt. We started the Small Manufacturing Enterprise in the early years of 2008 under the ‘LONDON FRESH’ Brand name.

Learning everything from scratch gave us the boost to be more hardworking in establishing our grounds. Today we process about 2000 Liters of milk a day. We distribute to small and medium retailers starting from Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur as well as Southern parts of Perak.

We are constantly looking at expanding our market and are currently looking at Perak, Penang as well as into hypermarkets.

BUSINESS ASPIRATIONS

We have stood by our business and farmers all these years and now we have decided that it’s time to do something greater. With our experience and the cooperation of our farmers we would like to grow Malaysia’s Dairy Industry to its optimum level. Being in the business, we see plenty of ups and downs ,mostly affecting the farmers. By growing them into greater level, we are sure to achieve what was said to be a dream number in the past.

OVERALL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We are currently involved in producing raw milk, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of high quality dairy based product. We sell our product primarily in health food and beverage category. We promote production of dairy products by providing quality products which in return gives customer satisfaction.

We sell all our dairy product at an affordable price to our health conscious customers. We have been distributing our products under the brand ‘LONDON FRESH’. As of today we process about 2000 liters of milk per day.

We have experienced strong sales and profit growth over the past years and right now we have planned to expand and absorb the boost in milk supply from our dairy cluster farmers and to cater to the demand of our customers.

Our current line of product is limited to sales of fresh milk and set yogurt but due to the demand we have planned to produce many variant of dairy product as listed:

LOCAL AND GLOBAL DEMAND

In recent years, the wedge between demand and supply has continued to grow. Increasing real incomes coupled with rising willingness to spend,changing consumer dietary patterns, increasing consumer awareness regarding the nutritional values of dairy products and waning price responsiveness are the major factors influencing the market growth. On the supply side, relatively favorable weather conditions, higher export prices, improved efficiency gains and continued focus on innovation and technology has resulted in improved supplies around the globe.

Recent industry developments and explosive demand trend arising largely from emerging countries led by China have placed the market comfortably on a higher growth path. Smaller domestic production capacities, volatile global feed prices, the increasing use of high quality feed in traditional pasture-based regions, rising cost of primary inputs (land and labor) and sharp volatility in overall prices have fueled production costs in these countries which in turn has restricted production. Transformation of the traditional structure of dairy farming into modern technological set-up will change the entire dairy market on an advanced platform, which will be fitted with high-tech equipment,technology and heavy investment. Technological innovations and improvements in the production process and efficiency gains will enable dairy producers to cater to the increasing needs of customer indifferent forms like condensed milk, homogenized milk, buttermilk, cheese, casein, yogurt, gelato, and ice creams, while maintaining the quality standards at the same time. Production and consumption of cheese remains the highest amongst all dairy products worldwide. This segment has shown significant growth in the last few years. Except Oceania and South Asia, the rest of the world has strengthened its cheese consumption on the back of increased demand.

MARKETING AND ADVERTISING

Our plan is to introduce the “1 Malaysia Yogurt for School Program” and to Reintroducing the 1 MalaysiaSchool Milk Program. We are working hard to instill a dairy consuming TREND among Malaysians, while making sure that the children are also delivered with enough probiotic in their diet to ensure their health and well being are taken care off from an early stage.

We would like to bring to the attention the importance of introducing dairy products to children from a nearly stage so that consuming dairy product becomes a “Culture” rather than a choice.

Educating the public on the importance of dairy products and eating healthy would be our main aim in improving and increasing the well being of our Malaysians. Providing the public with locally produced quality dairy products with an affordable price is one of our mission in accomplishing the above said aim.

To achieve this we would employ social media and other marketing tools that would efficiently put the message across.

DISTRIBUTION

At the current moment we distribute our daily produce to small retailers in the state of Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Our current project is to explore the markets of Perak and Pulau Pinang.

We have set up major plans to invest in a bigger plant which can process and meet the local demand. We believe we have very high prospect in each of these channels;

1. Modern Trade (Approx. 65% of our net sales) :TESCO, GIANT, JUSCO, COLD STORAGE, AEON BIG and MYDIN.

2. F&B Outlet (Approx.17% of our net sales) :Starbucks, Gloria Jeans, Mc Donalds (café section), Coffee Bean, Secret Recipe etc..

3. Traditional Trade (Approx. 18% or our net sales) :7-Eleven, K K Mart, 99 SpeedMart and other grocers.

SUPPLY CHAIN

1. Fresh Milk Supply: Our current supply of fresh milk comes from the nearby farmers. Once the expansion of our dairy cluster is achieved then our supply would come from all of our cluster farmers and also other farmers not under the cluster who seek our assistance in purchasing and marketing their fresh milk.

2. Packaging Materials: Packaging is a critical element in ensuring the quality and safety of our product. Therefore all our packaging materials and equipment’s will be sourced from reliable and approved supplier such as Tetra Pak.

3. Quality control: We would be designing a plant that would ensure the quality and safety of our product. We will appoint a scheduled third party inspection on our manufacturing line. We would also have regular audits to address issues on our packaging, ingredients, product specification and sanitation.
